The Speedway Police Department reminds residents and motorists of restricted parking and street closures during the upcoming St. Christopher Summer Festival, during the weekend of June 19^th through June 20^th, 2026. As approved by the Speedway Town Council, the following closures and restrictions include:  

1. 15^th Street between Lynhurst Drive and Biltmore Avenue will be open to only westbound traffic, becoming a one-way street.
2. 15^th Street between Lynhurst Drive and Biltmore Avenue will be posted “No Parking” on both the north and south sides of the street.
3. 15^th Street between Biltmore Avenue and Worth Avenue will be posted “No Parking” on the south side of the street.
4. Biltmore Avenue will be open to only northbound traffic from 15^th Street, becoming a one-way street. 
5. Biltmore Avenue traffic will be directed to eastbound only onto 16^th Street.

Motorists and residents are cautioned that those in violation of parking restrictions during these time periods shall be subject to a $50.00 fine plus towing and storage fees. ,
