Ordinance No. 1061

WHEREAS, the Town Council of the Town of Speedway, Indiana (the "Town") has determined it necessary to allow angle parking on the east side of Main Street for the purpose of providing additional parking spaces on Main Street.

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Town of Speedway, Indiana that Section 10.12.140(1) of the Speedway Municipal Code is amended to read as follows:

Section 1. Section 10.12.140(1) of the Speedway Municipal Code is amended to read as follows:

"10.12.140 Method Generally.

No person shall stop, stand or park a vehicle unless the right-hand wheels of such vehicle are within twelve inches of the right-hand curb of the street, except that vehicles shall be parked at a forty-five degree angle at the following places:

(1) On the west and east side of Main Street between Fourteenth Street and Tenth Street;

(2) On the north side of Sixteenth Street between Lynhurst Drive and Beeler Street;

(3) On the south side of Sixteenth Street between Lynhurst Drive and Biltmore Street."
