Park Shelter Rental
ONLINE RESERVATIONS ARE FOR PRIVATE FUNCTIONS ONLY
EVENTS OPEN TO PUBLIC OR SPECIAL REQUESTS THAT ARE OTHERWISE PROHIBITED, MUST BE
APPROVED BY THE SPEEDWAY PARKS AND RECREATION BOARD AT LEAST 60 DAYS IN ADVANCE.
Shelter Fees:
- $75 for Town of Speedway residents
- $150 for non-residents
Ziegelmueller Pavilion (Gazebo) Fees:
- $100 for Town of Speedway residents
- $175.00 for non-residents
Meadowood Park Shelter Information
- Pavilion 1 has a grill & picnic tables w/attached benches with a capacity of up to 55
- Pavilion 2 has a grill & picnic tables w/attached benches with a capacity of up to 80
- Pavilion 3 has a grill & picnic tables w/attached benches with a capacity of up to 55
- Ziegelmueller Pavilion does not have tables, chairs, or grill
Leonard Park Shelter Information
- Pavilion 1 has a grill & picnic tables w/attached benches with a capacity of up to 45
- Pavilion 2 has a grill & picnic tables w/attached benches with a capacity of up to 65
Please read all rules (found under the Park Rules section) of Speedway Parks before renting a shelter. Things to keep in mind...
- Rule violations are subject to $150 fine for each offense. An additional $250 clean-up fee may be imposed if necessary. Violations will be cited whether witnessed in person or on security footage.
- Consider bringing a wagon to help get your items to the shelter. No vehicles are allowed on the park walking paths or park grounds. Everything must be carried in.
- Non-resident reservation requests must be made no earlier than 90 days in advance of desired date. No approval will be granted if made more than 90 days in advance.
- Due to liability reasons, damage to the grass, and sensitive underground infrastructure, we do not allow structures of any kind to be put in the parks. Bounce houses and pop-up tents are prohibited.
- No alcohol and no smoking.
- Be mindful of the neighbors surrounding the park. No amplified music that can be clearly heard beyond 50 ft from the device. Residents know the park rules and they will call the police when their peace is breached.
- Enjoy your DAY at the park. The parks close at sunset so plan your departure before it gets dark.

Shelter Cancelation Refund Policy
- Cancelation 21 or more days in advance will receive a FULL REFUND (less card processing fee)
- Cancelation 14 - 20 days in advance will receive a 50% REFUND (less card processing fee)
- Cancelation 13 days or less in advance receive NO REFUND
- Cancelation by authorizing officer - FULL REFUND
- NO REFUND for inclement weather
