ANNOUNCEMENT FROM SPEEDWAY POLICE DEPARTMENT: Parking and Street Restrictions for GMR Grand Prix Weekend

The Speedway PD reminds the community that parking restrictions and street/road closures will begin later this week for the GMR Grand Prix taking place at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
The GMR Grand Prix will be run on Saturday, May 13, 2023, with practice and qualifications scheduled for Friday, May 12, 2023:
SPECIAL NOTE: If you will be parking cars in your yard, please ensure that the parked cars do NOT extend into the sidewalk. This can create an unsafe hazard for pedestrians as well as an illegal sidewalk encroachment situation.
