COMMUNITY INVITED TO "CHEERS TO 100 YEARS" CELEBRATION!

The Speedway Centennial Celebration Committee invites residents, businesses, and visitors to join in celebrating a once-in-a-lifetime milestone during "Cheers to 100 Years," a community street party commemorating the 100th Anniversary of the Town of Speedway.

The celebration will take place on Saturday, August 15, 2026, from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. on Main Street in Speedway, bringing together neighbors, families, and friends for an evening filled with entertainment, activities, and hometown pride.

Planned and organized by the Speedway Centennial Celebration Committee, Cheers to 100 Years is designed to celebrate the community that has called Speedway home for the past century while creating a new tradition for generations to come.

"Cheers to 100 Years is more than a celebration - it's a chance for our community to come together and recognize the people and partnerships that have shaped Speedway over the last century," said Chris Meador, Speedway Centennial Planning Lead. "We invite everyone to join us for an unforgettable evening as we celebrate our hometown, make new memories, and kick off what we hope becomes a cherished Speedway tradition."

Cheers to 100 Years

The evening will feature activities for all ages, including:

  • Games: 5 p.m. - 7 p.m.
  • Carousel Rides: 5 p.m. - 10:50 p.m.
  • Live Band: 6:30 p.m. - 11 p.m.

  • Yo-Yo Master
  • Fancy Pants Entertainment
  • Magician
  • Food Trucks

AND … a fireworks display that will provide a spectacular conclusion to an evening celebrating Speedway's first 100 years and looking ahead to the next century.

  • Fireworks Finale: 10:30 p.m. - 10:45 p.m.
