MESSAGE FROM SPEEDWAY STREETS DEPARTMENT and Speedway PD CODE ENFORCEMENT:
Please be reminded that raking or blowing leaves into the streets is not allowed and fines may be incurred if found doing so.
Yard waste is picked up by the Speedway Street Department on a seasonal basis beginning in April each year. The last week of yard waste pick-up is the week of December 6, 2022.
Additional Information:
- Yard waste consists of grass, twigs, leaves, brush, tree limbs up to six (6) inches in diameter, and other organic yard & garden waste.
- Yard waste cannot be mixed with regular trash and must be placed in reusable containers or bio-degradable paper bags and not to exceed 50 lbs.
- There is NO limit to the number of yard waste containers left for pick-up.
