COMMUNITY NOTICE: 25th Street Reconstruction Project Phase II is Underway

The Town of Speedway would like to provide an update on the ongoing reconstruction project along 25th Street from High School Road to Parkwood Drive.

This project includes roadway reconstruction, curb replacement, sidewalk improvements, drainage upgrades, and related infrastructure enhancements designed to improve safety, traffic flow, accessibility, and the overall condition of the corridor.

The Town understands the importance of maintaining access to homes, businesses, schools, and community destinations throughout construction. We continue to work closely with the contractor to minimize disruptions and help ensure properties remain accessible whenever possible. While temporary traffic impacts, lane restrictions, and short-term access adjustments should be expected, coordination with residents and property owners remains a priority.

As construction progresses, residents and motorists should be aware that the intersection of Parkwood Drive and 25th Street will be closed for approximately 3 to 5 days during a future phase of the project. The Town will provide advance notice before the closure begins so residents, businesses, and motorists have time to plan alternate routes and make any necessary travel adjustments.
