COMMUNITY: Town of Speedway Food Drive Collects 1,216 pieces of non-perishable food and personal items

There’s no better way to celebrate the holiday than by giving back.

And giving is exactly what this community embraced during the second annual Town of Speedway Holiday Food Drive. A total of 1,216 pieces of non-perishable food and personal items were collected and distributed back into the community through the St. Christopher Food Pantry and The Storehouse Food Pantry, which is operated and supported by Speedway Christian Church.

Area food pantries serve hundreds of Speedway residents during the holidays, helping to ensure no one goes hungry. “The Holiday Food Drive is a great way to give back to the community while also building goodwill and helping those who may be experiencing hard times,” said Speedway Town Manager Grant Kleinhenz. “Giving should be celebrated and hopefully this holiday celebration will continue each year."

The annual Town of Speedway Holiday Food Drive is a meaningful way to make a difference. A sincere thank you to such a caring community for the generous donations.
