Outgoing Town Councilors Honored at Town Council Meeting

Outgoing Town Councilors were honored at last night's Town Council meeting, recognizing their years and dedication of serving the Speedway community.

Their commitment of serving as Town leaders ranged from 4 years to 17 years. "This is an impressive thing to see - leaders giving years of time to serve their community," said Town Manager Grant Kleinhenz. "This is a testament to why Speedway is the way our community is today. Consistency in leadership, consistency in focus & vision – always leads to better results."

Recognized were Councilors Eileen Fischer, David Lindsey, Gary Pedigo, and Gary Raikes. Family and friends were in attendance as each councilor received a plaque of gratitude.
