Over 300 Residents Engage with Speedway's 2025 State of the Town

Thank you to the more than 100 residents who attended the 2025 State of the Town event last evening, as well as the nearly 200 residents who joined us via livestream. Your active engagement and participation are greatly appreciated.

Each year, Town Council establishes goals, priorities, and objectives. Town departments are mindful of carrying out these focuses through every investment made, initiative launched, and project implemented. Last night, we paused to acknowledge the many things we can be proud of as we continue to move Speedway forward. It was exciting to celebrate just some of the 2024 accomplishments.

In 2025, Speedway stands poised for an even brighter future, balancing the preservation of our rich history with new growth and innovation. We are committed to building a vibrant, thriving community, one that honors our past while creating lasting opportunities for future generations. Together, residents, businesses, and leaders will shape Speedway into a place we continue to proudly call home.

We would like to thank our guest speakers who each brought dynamic information to the program. Speedway Schools Superintendent Dr. Kyle Trebley provided rankings and updates on Speedway Schools. Indianapolis Motor Speedway and IndyCar President Doug Boles talked of his new role with IndyCar, the soon-to-be opened IMS Museum, the 109th running of the Indy 500 race, and much more in racing news. Dallara IndyCar Factory CEO Stefano DePonti graciously hosted this year's State of the Town at the beautiful Dallara venue and shared with us an inside-look at Dallara’s operations and future plans.
