Scarecrow Building Contest Announced

If it feels like fall, it should look like fall. Right? So, we're creating some fun, fall-themed focal points right here in Speedway!

The Town of Speedway and The Speedway Chamber of Commerce are partnering together to host a Scarecrow Building Contest!


Speedway businesses have been invited to use their creativity and ingenuity to build a scarecrow to be displayed in front of their business. As you visit the scarecrows around town, you will see the variety of ideas, elements, and inspirations each business chooses to use. Participating businesses are designing their scarecrow display September 21 through September 30.

Come OCTOBER 1 - OCTOBER 31, the community will be asked to vote for your Top Three Scarecrow displays!


Voting will not begin until October 1 - when a QR sign will be placed on each display - leading you to the voting page.
