A Westside town rich in history and tradition is preparing for its inaugural Speedway Hometown Parade in September.

Established in 1926 Speedway, Indiana is a blend of rich history, valued tradition, and vibrant growth. Located in Marion County, Speedway is home to nearly 13,000 residents. The Town is especially proud of its top-ranked schools, outstanding public safety, and strong sense of community.

The Town of Speedway is a small, safe, and diverse community rich in tradition which is striving to create vibrant neighborhoods by excelling in education, industry and progress. The parade will celebrate the Town, schools, local businesses, and local clubs and sports teams that all make our small Town so special.

On Sunday, September 24th at 4 PM, the parade will begin at 21st Street near North Main Street and travel to Winton Avenue, ending at the Speedway High School parking lot. The community is encouraged to line the streets and cheer for your favorite parade entry! Click here to view the parade route.
