STREET CLOSURE AND PARKING RESTRICTIONS ANNOUNCED FOR DAWSON'S ON MAIN 20TH ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION

The Town of Speedway would like to notify residents, businesses, and visitors of temporary street and parking restrictions associated with Dawson's On Main 20th Anniversary Celebration on Saturday, June 27, 2026.

The anniversary event will take place at Dawson’s On Main from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. To accommodate outdoor festivities, the Speedway Town Council approved at the June 8 public meeting a temporary closure of a portion of 15th Street between Main Street and the alley west of Main Street.

Parking Restrictions

  • No parking will be permitted on 15th Street from Main Street to the adjacent alley after 2 p.m. on Saturday, June 27.
    Temporary "No Parking" signs will be posted in advance.
  • Vehicles remaining in the restricted area after the posted time will be towed at the owner's expense.

Street Closure Details

  • The closure will affect 15th Street from Main Street to the adjacent alley. While the street will be closed to vehicle traffic, the alley will remain open and accessible throughout the event.
  • The outdoor event area will include live entertainment, tables, and seating. An emergency access lane will be maintained at all times to ensure public safety and emergency response access.
