Town Trash Services Information
REMINDER OF TRASH COLLECTION DELAY:
Due to the Christmas holiday, trash & recycling were not collected yesterday, December 26, 2023. Trash service will be provided on a one-day delay for the remainder of this week.
2024 TRASH COLLECTION CALENDAR:
The 2024 Trash Collection Calendar is now available on the Town of Speedway website site. You may find it on the Home page as well as on the Street Department page.
NEW YEAR'S WEEK TRASH COLLECTION DELAY:
Due to the New Year's Day holiday, trash collection will be on a one-day delay for the week of January 1, 2024.
REMINDER OF CHRISTMAS TREE PICK-UP SERVICE:
Christmas tree pick-up service will occur the first 2 weeks of January 2024, on your regularly scheduled trash days. Trees will be ground into compost.
- Real trees only.
- No ornaments of any kind left on tree.
- No lights left on tree.
- No wire or stands.
- If placed in a bag, we will not take the bag.
HEAVY TRASH DAYS:
Heavy Trash Days this month are January 9, 10, 11, 2024.
YARD WASTE:
The Yard Waste Pick-up Serviced for the 2023 season ended early December.
Please note that you are still welcome to drop off your remaining fall yard waste at the Speedway Street Department during the hours of Mon-Fri, 7:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
The Street Department is located at 1390 N. Lynhurst Drive.
