TYPE S NIGHT LIGHTS IS COMING TO MAIN STREET SPEEDWAY!
The Town of Speedway is excited to welcome TYPE S Night Lights presented by Gazoo Racing USA and hosted by renowned automotive photographer & personality Larry Chen and actor & automotive enthusiast Sung Kang.
This free event will take over Main Street on Wednesday, July 29, from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m., bringing an unforgettable evening of cars, entertainment, and automotive culture to the heart of Speedway.
Hosted at the Performance Racing Industry (PRI) Headquarters, 1255 Main Street, TYPE S Night Lights is being presented in partnership with Formula Drift and PRI. Organizers anticipate 300 to 400 vehicles and thousands of attendees for the event’s first-ever Midwest appearance.
GUESTS CAN EXPECT:
• Hundreds of cars on display along Main Street
• Meet-and-greet opportunities with Larry Chen and Sung Kang
• A special screening of the first seven minutes of the upcoming DRIFTER movie
• A live question-and-answer session with Sung Kang inside PRI headquarters
• Opportunities to connect with fellow automotive and racing enthusiasts
All vehicles are welcome, admission is free, and the event is open to fans of all ages.
“Speedway has always been a gathering place for racing fans and automotive enthusiasts from around the world, and we are thrilled to welcome TYPE S Night Lights to Main Street,” said Speedway Director of Communications Cheryl McElroy. “This event offers another opportunity to celebrate the people, creativity, and passion that make the automotive community so special.”
TYPE S Night Lights will also serve as a prelude to the inaugural Formula Drift event at Lucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway Park, taking place July 30 through August 1.
Attendees are encouraged to enjoy the event responsibly, follow all posted signs and event staff directions, and be respectful of nearby residents and businesses.
