VETERANS DAY: Speedway Municipal Center Hours of Operation and Speedway Schools Veterans Day Parade

On Veterans Day, please pause to honor and thank the brave men and women who currently serve or who have served and sacrificed for our freedoms. To them and their families, we are forever grateful.

NOTICES:

TOWN OF SPEEDWAY SMC HOURS OF OPERATION

  • In observance of Veterans Day, the Town of Speedway Municipal Offices will be closed Friday, November 10, 2023. Regular office hours will resume Monday, November 13.

SPEEDWAY SCHOOLS VETERANS PARADE

  • Speedway Junior High School and Carl G. Fisher Elementary School will host their annual Veterans Day Parade on Friday, November 10, 8:30 a.m. – 10 a.m.
  • The parade will feature approximately 30 Veterans and will be led by Speedway PD Officer Jeremy Howery. SJHS Band performs from school front porch while school staff and students cheer on from surrounding sidewalks.
  • The Veterans Parade route will begin on Allison Avenue and proceed to 14th Street to Winton Avenue to 13th Street and back on Allison Avenue - making two loops around the schools.
