WEATHER UPDATE: Speedway Streets Department Pretreating for Winter Weather

The Speedway Streets Department is currently pre-treating the streets and the town-owned sidewalks at the Fire Department, Speedway Municipal Center, and on Main Street.

The Town has two trucks that will be running until midnight tonight working main thoroughfares. At 12 a.m. Friday, a full staff of seven employees will be clearing side streets and maintaining main thoroughfares. This work consists of two drivers working main thoroughfares, four working side streets, and one managing town-owned sidewalks and Main Street.

Beginning at 12 p.m. Friday, two drivers will complete the street clean-up and maintain the roadways through Saturday 12 a.m.

The Town works hard to provide residents the best driving conditions possible. We will continue to provide updates as conditions change. Please exercise caution and patience as needed, and most importantly, stay safe.
