West Indy Art & Music Festival

Co-Hosted by: Speedway Parks & Recreation and West Indy Winds

The West Indy Art & Music Festival will be held on August 17th in Meadowood Park, Speedway, Indiana. A community arts, crafts, and culture event featuring local artisans, crafters, community groups, and musicians. This admission-free event is a great opportunity to view and purchase arts & crafts, mingle with neighbors, get to know community organizations, and enjoy an afternoon of live musical entertainment at the gazebo.

Artist/Crafter Booth Application

Booth Space and Requirements

Booth Fee: $50 due by Friday, August 2, 2024 ($60 after 8/2/24)
Payable to TOWN OF SPEEDWAY - PARKS
Payment options: 
     1.) In advance by cash or check, in person at Speedway Municipal Center or mail to: 
          Town of Speedway-Parks, 5300 Crawfordsville Rd., Speedway, IN  46224;
     2.) In advance by credit card for an additional $1.54 processing fee; or
     3.) Day of event by cash only of $60 at check-in.

  • Art and craft booths will be located throughout Meadowood Park in Speedway, IN.
  • Artists and crafters must supply a 10’x10’ tent WITH WEIGHTS (20 lb minimum per leg) to protect against strong winds. No concrete nails or stakes of any kind are permitted. 
  • Artists and crafters must bring their own booth display equipment including table and chairs. All artwork and crafts must be contained within the artist’s booth.  Please take care in setting up a professional display.
  • Artists and crafters are not allowed double booth spaces without prior authorization. Artists and crafters wishing to purchase a double booth should email requests to parks@speedwayin.gov. Not all requests can be accommodated.  

Eligibility, Rules, and Reproduction Policy

  • All work must be original, handcrafted work. Artists and crafters guarantee the accuracy of the description of the works presented and the authenticity of the work as the creation of their own hands.
  • Work done by a production studio is not acceptable. All work must be designed and executed by the accepted artist/crafter.
  • Following application submission, photos of artwork to be displayed at festival will be required.
  • Only one artist/crafter will be permitted per booth, artists/crafters are not allowed to share their exhibit space.
  • Artists/crafters may not exhibit work purchased from another artist/crafter for resale.
  • Speedway Parks reserves the right to refuse exhibition of work not consistent with the quality of submitted photos and these guidelines.
  • Artists/crafters must be present and must staff their booth during the festival. 

In order to provide a variety of artisans and crafters, each application will be reviewed and juried.
